Therapy works by helping you understand yourself better, develop coping mechanisms, change unhelpful thought patterns, and improve relationships. It's a collaborative process between you and the therapist.
The first session is usually an assessment of your presenting issues. For physical sessions, we encourage you to come earlier to fill out some questionnaire/form. if you haven’t done so. It is completely normal to feel anxious to come into the therapy space. The first session usually starts with an assessment which consists of interviewing clients about their background and their histories. Our trained therapist will assess and listen to your needs and customise the strategies and skills you need after the assessment.
It's important to find a psychologist you feel comfortable with. If you don't feel a good connection, it's okay to discuss it with your psychologist or seek a different psychologist.
We offer psychotherapy only. If medication is needed, we will advise and, if necessary, recommend a psychiatrist.
Generally, individual therapy sessions are one-on-one. However, there may be situations where bringing a family member or partner is appropriate (e.g., in couples or family therapy). It is important to discuss this with your psychologist.

Think about what you want to discuss and what you hope to achieve in therapy. It can also be helpful to write down any questions you have for the therapist.
We would appreciate it if you cancel or reschedule your session at least 24 hours in advance. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please WhatsApp us for assistance. Kindly be informed that No-shows will forfeit the session.
We’re here to help with diagnostic assessments for children, teenagers, and adults. Our thorough assessments can explore a range of challenges, including mood disorders, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, personality disorders, eating disorders, and more. All of our assessments are carried out by registered clinical psychologists who are dedicated to your well-being.
Following your assessment, you will receive a detailed report. Please note that all reports and letters reflect the psychologist’s professional judgment. We aim to be as helpful as possible, and rest assured that our reports are valid and credible for educational, psychological, medical and legal purposes.
Our psychologist will learn about your background history and discuss next steps such as assessment or therapy. Schedule after your intake.
If further assessment is recommended, our psychologist will advise the tools and evaluation process.
*We can assess mood disorders, ADHD, ASD, PTSD, Eating Disorder, Personality disorders and other mental health issues.
Upon completion of assessment, we’ll brief you on the findings and recommendations, discuss next steps, and provide your report (within 2-3 weeks).
General Assessment package
Comprehensive Assessment
If you or your child have ongoing emotional and behavioural issues that affect daily life, a psychological assessment may be necessary. During the first intake, our psychologists will answer your questions and evaluate if an assessment is required, helping you make an informed decision.
It depends on the concerns. You may discuss this with our psychologist. Sometimes, it may only involve a brief assessment (1-2 assessments), sometimes may require more than 2 assessments and across 1 to 2 days.
The briefing will clarify your next steps, regardless of the assessment results, and the psychologist will explain how to best address your symptoms or struggles based on your presenting concerns.
